Lace Poncho-Esque Top and Jewelry

 I thought we should take a look at a couple of transition pieces.  This poncho-esque printed top can take us from summer to late fall - for times when temperatures go from 80 to 50 from one day to the next.   It's all surrounded in lovely ecrue lace - multiple rolls of elastic around the waist make it easy to wear.  The jewelry is also from Alana - hand-crafted pieces.

Camel Poncho, Shawl, Boot Warmers

This camel poncho is a good choice for your casual life.  It has arm holes so you don't have to worry about it flapping around. You can also pop it over a plain black long-sleeve t-shirt.  The fabric is made of recycled cuttings from the manufacture of other garments, so good for all the eco-minded people..

Music AND Fashion

This Saturday, October 15, 2011 there will be a special treat for shoppers in the Joyce Skylight Court.

Music on KK, the concert series usually staged across the street, will be featured in the common area of the Joyce Skylight Court, 2680 S Kinnickinnic Avenue this week.  A one-hour concert by folk singer / bassist / songwriter Chris Straw, accompanied by Jon Pagankopf on guitar begins at 3:00 p.m. in the common area down the hall from Alana.

Plenty of seating available, and extended store hours at Alana, so you can check out our latest Fall Fashion arrivals on the same trip.
