After a one-week absence. Alana is once again open!  We just attended Fashion Week in Las Vegas.  From the thousands of vendors, and tens of thousands of apparel items at the various trade shows, we've brought the best back to Milwaukee. 

New items are arriving daily - too fast to photograph, but we'll do our best this coming weekend. One of our customers, Gail,  came in -- took one look at the new items -- and composed this ad at left to hand out to her friends.  Now That's Alanatude!

Black Maxi with Sudden Flower

This is my favorite maxi dress this season.  It's liquid jersey in ebony that's relieved by a large red flower, both front and  back. The all elastic bodice hugs the body from skinny straps at the shoulders

Grey Rain Coat

 This very fashionable grey coat is water repellant and so much fun to wear.  It closes with both a zipper and buttons.  The hemline flares out with a discreet ruffle.  Love it?  Get It! At Alana Women's Apparel.

White Ruffle Jacket

 We all need a fresh white jacket to toss on when it gets a little chilly in the summer and fall. We like this one because of the subtle ruffles all around that will never wrinkle.  3/4 sleeves and a shark's tooth hemline are other fun attributes.

Blue Shimmer Jacket

What a great way to shine!  This wonderful fitted jacket is so comfortable because it's created of a stretch fabric.  The quiet tones of black and blue are sophisticated to be worn with wide pants, a long skirt or knee length skirt.  It's styled to last for years.

Purple Leopard Poncho

 This colored leopard shawl zips up.  What a greate idea to keep it in place, but beautifully! This way it gives the appearance of a poncho, but, if you prefer not to zip, it can be treated as a large comfy shawl.

Purple Heart Coat

Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve! How about spreading it around all over your coat?  A raised design -- pretty neat, huh?  One long pleat in the back adds a graceful ending to a simple design

Long Lean Tribal Print Jacket

There are dozens of jackets that really should not even be buttoned up.  This one in mesh gives us coverage on the arms but allows the air in. The striking black and white print is drawn out in long lean lines.  Get one and stand out the next time you're out and about.

Green Print Pants, Lattice Top

Prints are IN! The wider, the better.  These pants are quite mild when seen in the midst of them.  Note that they're a little wider than what we've been accustomed to, the green tunic is perfect with them. A nude bra underneath would not be visible through the lattice at the shoulders.

Reversible Fuchsia Rain Coat, Scarf

 
This water-repellant coat shows us two sides of itself.  Bright Fuchsia brightens up a rainy day, but sometimes you feel you want to blend in with the weather.  Then, just reverse it, and it's black accented with fuchsia.  The lines are easy so you can wear everything under it.  The scarf contrasts beautifully.

Leopard and Lace

This sheer top combines black with a leopard pattern, and a subtle design around the bottom.  Wear it loose and floaty or button it up another time.  A lovely lace camisole is seen beneath.

GREY CROCHET, GREEN CAMI

Crocheted pieces are also very desirable this season.  This one is thick and crunchy and great to wear year round. Right now it's worn over a green cami, but later on, a long sleeve top of almost any color would work during the cold months.

Black Embroidered Top

This easy top has so many new things about it!  It flares out aat the hem, and at the ends of the sleeves.  So, it feels good! You could wear a long sleeve shirt beneath for yet another version. Delicious.
